We accept youth who are ready for a community-based independent living setting and working toward a durable exit from care.

From referral to launch.
Referral
The placing agency submits a referral packet to the NGA Program Director.
Eligibility
NGA reviews eligibility: age 17 to 21, life-skills assessment, and ILA-readiness.
Pre-Placement
Youth tours the ILA setting, meets the caseworker, and reviews the program.
Agreement
Youth, guardian (if under 18), placing agency, and NGA sign the Participation Agreement.
Admission
Day-of orientation, emergency-plan walkthrough, and setting tour.
Service Plan
Individualized Service Plan developed within 30 days; reviewed every 90 days.
